RE: wheels.... Are u using terry cloth towels ... to apply and to remove? When i did the tiral i actually focussed on 1 spoke at a time since the polish doesn't seem to work well if dried up...

Thought so. That's finishing polish........ your wheels are not ready to be finished. First get the surface correct, then polish. More about stuff like that in the detailing section of the site.
