This car def belongs in the Club Lexus Family

I would love to have something like this - so much potential and rarer than any Skyline --- only two TRUE soarers in this country. Is that correct?

I believe there are more than 2...something like 10 but I could be wrong.

As a former owner of a street legal Soarer, I was suprised that there were over 10 LEGAL Soarer in the US.

About that particular car, the owner has been trying to sell it for awhile now, it was on ebay a couple months back.

Yes the 1j was the best motor offered, however, there was also a v8 option.

That is just awesome. Do you have a link to a site that gives the breakdown of what the different variations of the chassis codes mean for the 2.5L and 3.0L versions?

Not too familiar with the 3-ltr models, V8's aren't my expertise, so here's my breakdown on the twin turbos...

Soarer 2.5GT-T (JZZ30-ACMVZ / JZZ30-ACPVZ)
The most basic of Soarers. These were released from 1991 when the 30-series was introduced. It's the lightest from all of the Soarers that were made that time too (approx. high 1500kgs compared to the UZZ3x's 1700kgs). These models had no woodgrain trim, cloth seats with manual adjustment, no ABS nor TEMS. Options include manual transmission (R154), traction control and sunroof. Audio options ranged from a simple tape deck to a 7-speaker set up (component fronts, full range rears and an 8" mid-bass speaker) with 12CD changer, some had DAT tape players with it too.

Soarer 2.5GT-T-L (JZZ30-ACMZZ / JZZ30-ACPZZ)... My Soarer!!!
These are the L-spec twin turbos. These were also released in 1991 when the 30-series first came out. These came with factory woodgrain, ABS and TEMS (electronically damper adjustable suspension), electric seats (velour trimmed). The options available on this include the stuff the basic JZZ30 had as options, but also stuff that the V8 Limited (UZZ31) model had. For example, my Soarer has LCD rear view mirror and ultrasonic door mirrors. Not many twin turbo Soarers have these fitted (from the ones I've seen anyway), but then again I'd rather my car be optioned up with an R154, traction control and a limited slip diff it's got all the luxury features though so I'm happy

Hope that helps.
