tail light option
just a thought. i don't like the monster turn signal in my tails, so, as an option, i came up with this. i've seen it done on other cars, so i PSed it. its rough, but you catch my drift. just wanting some feedback. i'm torn, one minute i like it, the next i hate it. let the pic load, and no thats not my car, just one with a good rear shot, lol.
its either this or a tail light swap.

well i guess if u built some kinda relay box to wire into the wiring loom, it would be easy. IMO i love the factory 92 style SC/Soarer tails. They blend in real well and dont stand themselves out as a styling standpoint.

yeah, i'm still undecided. i don't think i've seen them from the factory on any car, but i know its a big thing in the mustang world. they sell plug-n-play kits to do this. but they are like, 70 bucks, so my buddy can wire something up. argh, i guess if my buddy can do it for a decent price, i'll just have him do it so i can see it in person. hmm.

I'm not a big fan of the idea. It just seems too much like a road hazard sign...."construction ahead" "merge left".
Besides, it would attract too much attention from da' po'lice. They have enough reasons to pull me over.
Excellent Photoshop job, by the way!

yeah of course, lol. i didn't invent it, haha. if you google "mustang blinker" or "sequential blinker" you'll get crap loads of sites about this mod. i'm sure there will be a diagram on one of those sites.

that sequential turn signal was standard on '68/'69 cougars - the mustang guys use it
cuz its a 'retro' ford idea - try searching cougar turn signal for a cheaper alternative
i remember installing 'black boxes' on customer cars back in the day because the o.e.
unit only lasted 3/5 years (i'm think'n 20/30 bucks - but i maybe wrong)
good luck on your quest
