Angry first a flat... now this crap!!

started my car after work and the crank pully sheered off. this is just not my week!! first i got a flat on saunday, now this. im very thankful that i have friends that have spare parts, and friends that will come get me.... thanks chino, dave and larry!! i had it fixed in about an hour after getting a new one. here are the pics...

luckily this was the only thing that happend to my fan.

this whole situation would have been a lot worse if i were on the highway when it went out. i was lucky that my radio was down when i started the car so that i could hear that something was wrong. the car was only on for a few seconds, then i shut it off. not sure why it happened, but all i did was start the car..... and no my AC wasnt on chino! it may have been due to the fact that i drove through 2 feet of standing water on the way to work today... thats the only thing i can think of.

When you have an a/c compressor that locks up occasionally and you still use the a/c, crank pulley's tend to drop to the floor.... lol

Ill post my pics tomorrow sometime.....

This seems to be a common problem. Like I posted a couple times already, mine had been off for god knows how long. It was sitting on the plastic under body panel all rusted out. I didn't have much problems since the tensioner was doing it's job and my belt didn't slip.
