Those look very nice! Very professional and well done!

What exactly did you do? Cut the existing mirror caps and incorporate that blinker into it?

I did a similar mod on my 99 GS, but had a custom mirror cap replacement made with the blinkers incorporated into that - here are mine https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=163667 (not trying to hijack your thread, just showing mine as a comparison to yours)

They look like they are covers Hameed, not replacement housings.

I resized a couple of the images so that others can see them without having to click the link you posted.

Default Mirrors

These were complete units, i.e. full mirror set, not just the covers.

I can assure you that these as real as you can get. The mirrors on my car were the complete unit, mirror casing, mirror, drive motor the lot. In fact these are so well made that the led light strip has been moulded into the mirror cover, and by that I mean that this is not simply a mirror that has had a hole cut into it and had one of the led lenses slid in. I can assure you these are as good as you can get. These are very well made.

Please not that not all these merc style mirror are that well made. The build quality can vary.

There is a set available right now on Yahoo Japan http://page10.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/m14102952. (These are not the ones I bought. Just for the record :-))

Again I don’t know anything about this particular chap, but all I can say is that he sells a few of these and usually has a set once a month up on Yahoo Japan.

I looked at the different images for awhile and since the color was dark, it was hard to tell. With some, the shape was just slightly off but this one in particulary made me stop. Maybe he molded a cover to the OEM housing? In any case, as long as you are happy with them, that's all that counts.

Original:

I saw this outline and it did not seem to flow like it was a full replacement:

I like mb style mirrors but they just don't look right on lexus cars with 2 doors. That's my opinion... Nice mod to make your sc different from the masses.
