Default I Need Help From Everyone On This One! (what are cheap alternatives to tow my SC)

OK.... my salvage sc300 is finished and ready to be taken to atlanta from ny for registration. I have 2 options.... tow it with a company for 450-500 dollars or tow it down myself. Has ne one towed their sc b4? Or does anyone know where i can rent a truck or pick up/big suv for that matter for a good price in NYC. I already tried uhaul theyre rediculous. I need to find a place that rent dollys for cheap and a place that rents pickups or big suv's HELPPPPPPPP thanks

are you doing it one way or R/T?
if one way - you're probably stuck with Uhaul, if R/T - just dont tell them that you're going out of town but there is a catch to that - if anything happens down the road they gonna make you pay
i dont know about renting an SUV in NY, sorry, even if you tell Uhaul that you are doing things in town they will catch you when you return it just by checking mileage
probably try to find a friend or a family member who has a truck that they will lend you
or bite the bullet and pay the transport company

but how are you gonna register it in GA with your NY ID?

I know uhaul wants 2000 to take it to ga one way. To transport is around 450-500. Now i might be able to get a temp plate from a dealer which would be much better since i have to drive the car for emissions and police inspection. I have a house in atlanta, and i used to go to college there and i still have my id. THis would be my 3rd car im registering down there. NY insurance for me (20y.o.) is 4000 every 6 months but in Ga its 550 for the year!

then,

1 - get a temp plate, pay little $
2 - pay $4-500 to transport it
3 - rent a Uhaul for $2000

should we get a poll going?

I think he was saying thats what he came up with, does anybody else have any cheaper alternatives. Not asking YOU which the cheapest was out of the 3...I think he knows that.

Put it on a train. They're usually cheap. My buddy brought his car from VA to Orlando for around $300. Thats including fare for the car and himself
