Im inbtwn painting my sc the newer red with a metallic coat or black. I like how the black and black rims with chrome lip looks but the red and chrome doesnt look that appealing. Anyone have their car set up either way? Im open to suggestions. Oh yea my headlights are blacked out so it needs to offset that also. pics would help... thanks

tan.... so silver wont look right but i thought about it. I know black and chome is nice but im the type to be different. I want something that isnt seen every day like the black on black with chrome lip. Or maybe the red with the inside of the rim painted the same color red

 

Get the blackest upon blackest of paint with no hint of metallic or pearl or anything in it. That will look nice and different but the normal eye won't be able to determine what it is that makes it different.

 

maybe you can go with the ferrari theme: red with tan and black interior with red accents (stitching etc.). but rims would have to be non-chrome IMO

I had gunmetal w/chrome lip rims on my SC,i just bought different wheels 2 weeks ago.(TT chrome )
Anyhow , IMO theres no better combo than a black SC with higher end darker rims with a chrome lip . I actually like that better than the all chrome. But its a close 2nd.
For me personally a red car w/red on the rims is a little too much red , but thats just my taste. It could be tight , but again i think you need really high end wheels to pull that look off. And those black headlights would need to go too w/ the red, you can send em over my way if you like.

 

i didnt mean red rims... that would be ugly i meant like red accent on the inside part of the rim like ive seen gun metal rims with the inside of it black.... ill find pics.
Also i neva seen the ferrari look that seems like a hot set up but what would be black in my interior?
Lastly.... any one have pics of 1. a black sc with black and crome lip rims, 2. A red sc with black and chrome lip, 3. or a red sc with chrome/sivler/gun metal rims

Depends really, are you planning to retrim the interior (give it a coulor change)? If so, go with something to contrast the interior. Favourite ones (for me) are...

* Black/Tan
* Deep red/Tan or black... or mixture of both

I love my Soarer's colour (Super Silver III metallic), but I reckon to make the most of it I need to retrim the interior in charcoal grey or something to offset the silver (spruce interior is nice, but I want something different).

 

how would red sc with the 97 body with blacked out headlights/fogs,highs with black rims with chrome lip 18s look?
