The end of rockchips! Bra for the SCs
Ughhh!
I hate car bras. This is like a bra but better . I went to the SEMA last year and saw a couple of show cars with a scotchcal paint shield. It's been around for a few years. You have to have it pointed out to see where it starts and ends. A high gloss .8mil Flexible super tough clear film that protect paint and COMPLETELY stops rockchips. It goes on like tint and streches around curves. I have new paint and lenses on my SC. My Vette is covered with rock chips so I decided to save my SC from the same fate. I feel like an sales agent boasting about the product but really just wanted to let fellow members know that such a cool product exists. I will post photos in my gallery although you probably wont be able to see it because it is so transparent . Just search the web for "paint protect film sc400" and you will get a few vendors that sell kits. I paid less than $150 but man this stuff is priceless protection for your paint and lights. I have it on my head and fog lights. Oh, it removes completely with no adhesive leftover, I screwed up on my first piece and got fingerprints on the inside and had to pull it off. I saved bucks on covering my lights by buying bulk material and doing it myself. If anyone wants to do their own lights let me know, I’ll get you the pattern that I made. If you can do simple tint, you can do this.
Good Bye rockchips!

Sorry about the content in my last post, I guess I'm still learning in drivers school. Is there a place that I can fing guidelines on whatI content I should and shouldn't post? Should I check to see if there is conflict of interest first or do I stay away from outside references all together? Again, sorry I should have checked before I posted. I'm new at forums and have been 'wingin my way through the learning process. I gues I crashed.

I had posted a link to a vendors website for I anyone wanted to get the same kit as did. Was that a reason that a reply would get wiped? Am I supposed to check for similar vendors on CL or not post any outside vendors at all. I'm new to this forum and only am aware of the "search for simmilar threads before you post " rule.
Thanks
