I only responded to the question of what tranny I have. I have a built TT tranny with the SC400 drive shaft. Pretty much like having the SC400 trans itself.
There is a long bar with an adjustable slide bolt that you can adjust to get the full shifter sweep from P to L. Bottom right of the parts list...p/n 33702B. You might get away with using your own on this part. My original fit ok but tight, so I used the new one since I had it. It fit much better and had more room for adjustment.
The parts list makes it look complicated but it isnt. The hardest part for me was getting the shift ecu to work. My service manuals had information on the stock ecu with a 10 pin connector but my car has an ecu with a 6 pin connector My 98-00 manuals had no information at all on the shift ecu.
If you look at the shift lock override, you will see that I installed a button to manually put it into gear until I had it sorted out.
So understand that everything bolts up physically but you may have some issues figuring out your ecu connections.
