its missing a steering wheel, front bumper and gauge cluster. the car has its + it has supra front a rear brakes, independent fuel management system, interior is in good shape. the car does not have engine and tranny of course. you might recognize this car from intellexual.net yes it is the exact car. a friend of a friend. is selling it anyways just wondering what kind of money would you guys pay.

OLT, is he not saying he wants to buy the car, minus the front bumper (which you have) and minus all the other things listed...if it doesnt come with an engine or tranny and is only the body +interior, $1500 might be a little much? After parting out the interior (if you plan on parting out). and the brakes, i dont think you'd make up the $1500.

I'm not sure if you're trying to buy it or sell it.

But I'm very interested in picking it up if you're only asking $1,500. Call me sentimental -- Steven was one of those guys who really got me hooked on the idea of a turbo'd SC300 5 speed... I'd hate to see his car get canibalized for parts.

Whatever happens to the car, I hope the new owner preserves the legend and takes care of the vehicle.

Tell ya a little something personal here that keeps getting brought up when someone mentions Stephen. When I heard of his death I was sitting near the radio and P-Diddy was doing the tribute "We'll always love Big Poppa".

For the life of me I cannot get the sound of the children singing that out of my head when Stephen's name comes up. I believe it was at the beginning and the end of the song. Very serene.

Congratulations on your honorable decision to restore the car! The car has history and should be preserved!

You buying that off of Tom??? I almost bought the car before as well but I was told like 3k for the shell and that was way too much in my opinion. I too had the same hesitations as you did in regards to the history of the car but I found many people on here were willing to help me out with restoring it due to its history. If you wanted to get it running quick you could get a stock ge motor and a 5 speed off ebay or something. If I remember correctly, it has the pedals and everything still in there. Good luck with the car, your not in PSL too are you???
