Default dash

Hey Twisted so you didn't have to remove the steering wheel to remove the dash? Is your car a 92 or 93 and above?

Thanks,
Alvin

Looks like fun

I love the normal analogue dash with the LLS mods done to them. What had to come off to pull the dash out? I'm thinking of going black interior but I'm way to chicken to pull the dash out

yeah, i had to remove the wheel to get the dash off. its a 93 btw. and it is 100% a PITA, haha. i built an 01 galant before my lex, and gimme 30 min, car would be totally gutted, lol. this on the other hand.....lol.

and FYI, that is NOT an LLS cluster, that is me doing it myself.

You guy's can also check the ice blue sticky for lot's of in depth photo's and info on the cluster. There is a few pages in the middle where I broke the unit down to pieces and took some super macro shots with explanations.

well the dye got in today, so tomorrow i will be doing the dash and center console. any tips from people that have used the SEM dye already before i jump into this?

everything should be back in by next weekend.

and just a digression, to LLS, i'm not going to argue anymore, because i don't want my thread locked like the other one, but i thought you should read this, and this is quoted:

"A patent may be granted for a process, act, or method that is new, useful, and not obvious"

sorry, but insterting an LED where a bulb goes is pretty damn obvious, so good luck trying anything with me after i get vendor status and start doing gauges for people.

anyways, check back soon for pics of everything completed.

AGAIN, you missed the word "utlility" in the thread you are discussing.
Now drop it. You'll be sent the proper paperwork from the LLS guy's if you attempt to resell units, but that's not for me to get into. Done.
