Default opinion needed on sc400 color change

Ok guys and gals give me your thoughts.

My 95 sc400 with 97+ upgrades is platinum in color.

Not the biggest fan of the "blue" tint in the paint color. Also the previous owner had a horrible paint job done on it. I dont know why but the entire car was painted. There are burn marks in the paint under the clear. Clear coat runs all over the car and the car has several spots that are dull in the paint.

I have had this thing lightly sanded. Had it clayed and detailed. There is still so much messed up paint that i really just dont want to deal with it anymore.

So my question is this. I always wanted a millenium silver sc with the black interior. I already have the black interior.

I dont want to spend 4k on a paint job so since the platinum is already has a silver hue to it if i only get the entire car and door jams done will it be that noticeable? Also since the car has already been entirely painted will me having the color change done really hurt the resale value?

i just hate to spend the money on getting the car painted platinum again when i really want the millenium silver color.

so what are your thoughts? And if anyone knows a really good shop in the atlanta georgia area please let me know

thanks!!

you should be ok, since my car was repainted(not the factory color) and the door jambs are not noticeable(its off a few shades).

Go ahead and get it done. The damage to the resale value has already been done from the first respray. Just make sure it's a quality job. In most cases original paint gets the most money.
