$6,000 max... if nothing else is wrong

I paid 5,800 for a '94 with 77,000 miles on it. Most of your mods are things that a new owner would probably rather not have

You really cant expect anyone to pay extra for added parts in a used car. Youd be better off reverting the car to stock and selling the aftermarket parts seperately. I know I wouldnt.

Even if i had the funds available id refuse to pay extra for an artificially inflated car even if all the parts alone are worth more then the car itself. If someone were to rear end me or tbone me id be sol and out of the money I just paid for the car. Thus main reason why I think supras are overpriced, especially modded ones.

I agree that modifications generally do not add value to the car. You may get a higher price for the car, but it will be after some time since the market for a modified car is smaller than that for a regular, factory stock car.

As for your comment about Supras, Allstate values my Supra at $36,000 - the amount they will pay in the event of loss. I can understand your reasoning for why modified cars are overpriced, but the prices for Supras have stabilized and insurance companies are now aware of the price they demand. Just because they didn't follow a normal depreciation schedule doesn't mean that it's overpriced.
