how much do you guys thnk my car is worth?
just want to know what you guys might think my car is worth if i do decide to sell it......
need yr opinions nor best advice...
here's what i've done to the car:
- headlight retrofit with tt projectors and hid kit
- 97-up tails
- vertex or vortex replica kit (custom paint to match, just recently installed)
- supra black steering wheel
- black pillar trims, whole center consol, window trims, door lock/window controls
- jdm exhaust (still dont know the brand name,
)
- tt shockS with tein s-tech springs
- hp evo wheels (19x8.5 / 19x9.5 with 245 and 275 tires)
- custom flasher relay (tks to siniquezu, eliminates the 'hyper' signal with updated tails)
- BLITZ drop in filter (passes smog...!!!)
- vllamos steering rack bushings
- LS400 big brakes up front with cross drilled rotors / rear has cross drilled as well
- 97-up grill and fogs
- stock sc400 wing
- griffin and soarer badges
- custom blue light climate control
i am not including:
- aftermarket radio (i have no stock radio, stock amp so you have to purchase separately)
- aftermarket speakers (both front and rear, again you hv to purchase your own)
history of the car:
- 1992 lexus sc300
- 185,000 miles ( new alternator, timing and fan belt can last another 40,000)
( optima yellow battery)
( common problem on pwr steering reservoir leak)
( has slight distributor leak )
(no other major leaks on: head gasket, valve cover)
- car has been well maintained, purchased last year on april 2004
- every 3000 oil change
- never overheated
- a/c needs some maintenance (does not get cold as usual)
- have few dings on doors
- clean title, not salvaged.

its a 92, just hit 100k miles. hasnt been driven much since the mods. authentic vertex kit, 19" advan sienna's, blitz nur-spec, tien coilovers, 97+ tails, flawless paint. Oh its 5spd too.. not sure if u are or not.

Not much higher then a bone stock sc400 in same condition and mileage.
You really cant expect anyone to pay extra for added parts in a used car. Youd be better off reverting the car to stock and selling the aftermarket parts seperately. I know I wouldnt.
Even if i had the funds available id refuse to pay extra for an artificially inflated car even if all the parts alone are worth more then the car itself. If someone were to rear end me or tbone me id be sol and out of the money I just paid for the car. Thus main reason why I think supras are overpriced, especially modded ones.
