Hater

I like the style of it, I haven't had any problems with these wheels whatsoever (I've had them since late '02) so I can't say anything bad about them. The only thing I'm really sick of though (now) is the chrome, I'm trying to find a way to get them painted/powdercoated or whatever. I'd get Gram Lights but I don't have a spare $4500 (that's going towards something else )

ADR Sterling and the Stern wheels are both played out big time
They are cheap, look decent and are available all over EBAY and a million other places.

20s are too big IMO

I think the 20" looks just a tad large on the stock body SC, but once you put that Vertex kit on it would look perfect. Too me, it seems 19" is perfect for the stock body but sometimes can look a ittle small with a body kit. I think the 20" on Manaray's car with the body kit looks perfect.

Tires are nitto nt555 255/35/20 and 235/35/20. Next plans will probably be a lowering job, i have a vertex kit but dont know if ill have time to do anything with it before i move....
they are pretty horrid. Not to burst your bubble, but it's not that the wheels are too big persay. It's just they are fairly ugly and the car is WAYYYYY too high.

Just because wheels are "staggered" doesn't mean they will look good. Nor does it mean the offset is anywhere near where it should be ESPECIALLY for 20's.

Forget what we all say! If it is beautiful in your mind, it doesn't matter what everyone else thinks. I liked your old setup better, but hey that's just my opinion.

I'm getting the st-2s because I like them, and it will never matter what kind of rim it is cuz there will always be 50,000 other people with the same rim, most of the time hehe.

Good luck with the car!

Default Looks good

Looks good to me. But i guess i'm a little bias too since i have them in 19". I find it hard to call any wheel played out. There are lots of people with lots of different rims, some you see more than others. Come to think of it.... there are a lot of people on here with some volks/HP's/lowenharts that i have seen on many types of cars. I've never heard anyone say those were played out, nor do i think they are. The man is proud of his wheels, i say give him props. The only thing that matters is what the owner thinks about his car. If we all listened to the Do's and Don'ts on the forum, we'd have a lot of cars that look the same. I say everyone do what they want and if someone doesn't like it, tell them to kiss it.

Ok, that was my 2 cents for the day.

i think they look too big on stock bodied sc's. it may look better with, i duno, a JIC magic? kit, just an example. but w/o a kit 20's look too big to me.

Look at One Hot's car. He has 20s with a kit. His looks perfect.

In order for 20's to look as perfect on an SC you'll need to throw that kit on. Right now the car looks like it's perched atop the rims monster-truck style. The kit will even things out a bit...and when you lower the car you may have rubbing issues, but you'd have to be the judge of that.

Ok first of all yes sterlings are a bit played but try finding staggered 20" sterlings. Its kinda hard, i personally have never seen them. The offset was also made for this car so they are custom to whoever said the offset probably isnt right.....
