I have 16 spoke OEM wheels on my 92 SC300. Can someone tell me if they can be mounted on either side of the car or are they directional?

 

I don't know if theyre directional or not. I have them too and I think its the biggest eye sore on my car so I dont think it even matters even theyre directional or not. EVERY other SC wheels looks soo much better

 

No, you OEM Wheels are not directional .
You can mount them one either side of you car, however the tires you choose may be direrctional.

I had the same ugly wheels too until I got some OEM 5-spoke wheels off an SC400. Big improvement in the appearance. Like setwire said, your tires are likely directional but I dont think the wheels are. These wheels are sometimes called turbine wheels and they do have a slight fan effect when they roll, but they'll either push or pull the air if you reverse them so it shouldnt matter.

 

I almost got the stock wheels with my sc when i bought it. the guy put one wheel on and i was like hell no.. put those Supra TT wheels back on..Some People like the stock wheels. but i seriously think they dont look right on this car.

 

I hate the look of the stock wheel, I have gs3 wheels on my car, and the spare is the stock sc3 wheel, and it looks hideous, from the side with matching wheels to the side with the spare the car looks totally different.
