suspension is being installed as we speak
I got quoted $150 for installation AND alignment at Wheel Works in San Francisco! I sold my my OEM shocks and springs to the shop owner because he needed to install them on his SC to sell it. I was looking around at other places and getting quoted $400 for installation and alignment
hopefully I'll get pictures up tonite.

So the springs and shocks are installed, alignment done and wheels mounted.
It seems as if I have all the common problems with Eibachs:
- My passenger side is approx. 1" taller than my drivers side. The funny thing is, is that while I was driving up my office driveway just now, I hear a loud "BANG!" near the rear of the car...like the suspension was settling or something. Now my car is almost even
Gonna go get it checked out.
- I get the "clunk clunk" at the front suspension where the spring coils slap against eachother while going over bumps. It's time for the rubber split hose trick to fix that
Other than that, the car ride firmer, especially with the 40 profile tires. Less body roll from turns but still maintains almost a stock like ride. Acceleration is slightly slower because of the heavier wheels. But it looks definately better and kills that ugly gap. Pics coming soon when I find that damn camera cord.

thanks guys.
well the car rides level now...just gotta fix the clunking sound from the springs.
bruce...i highly recommend eibach+tokico set-up. the next best thing would be Tein coilovers but it costs about twice the amount. Eibachs give a nice moderate drop and no camber kit is needed.![Thumb Up](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
next big project is 97+ kit

Cloud9, did you notice worse performance, ie slower braking and acceleration, with the new wheels like I did?
My next project is the LS400 brakes. I just got them yesterday. They're pretty dirty so I have to clean them and possibly hit 'em with some black paint. From what people have said, the the GS430 wheels have pretty good clearance so I probably won't have to get any spacers.
New thread next week....to be continued.....HAHAHA.

I was expecting braking and acceleration to be worse but I didn't notice that much of a difference. I think the stiffer suspension might have helped to reduce body squat during acc and braking.
LS brakes are definately on my to-do list (which keeps on growing btw

Have you figured out why one side of your car was lower than the other?

have you decided on a set-up yet?
