To paint my rims black or not to??
Well looking at one of the threads, Aerostar inspired me to think about painting my rims black. I would think it would look nice. I would have a nice red/black combo going with the black leather, dark tint, and carbon muffler. Then I could buy some black pearl emblems. What do you guys think?

Guys as for saving money? Doing this costs half a day and 15 bucks. If you aren't planning on selling the stockers ever, and want a somewhat better look than the silver wagon wheels, I say go ahead and paint away! Your rims are the better style than the wagon wheels though, and in gunmetal they would look pretty good. Especially if this is really only a temporary thing until you come into some real shoes.

I see too many guys here in Southern Calfornia in old Civics and Hondas who paint their stock wheels black, so it's a bit over played. On a subcompact econobox, it's not a bad thing, but for a luxury coupe, I would just keep it looking stock. Much classier.
Painting your wheels black, well, just says you just can't afford new wheels yet...sorry for being a little brutal.
