I'm so excited to share this news. Since 2000 I have been keeping track of my gas mileage and I've been getting about 330 miles between fill-ups. Guess what? on my last fill-up I got 400+ miles, but I was driving lots of highway miles.
This week's refill is more balanced because I'm back to work now, both freeway and streets. So far at half a tank I got 190 miles.
My driving habit: ECT Power 100% of the time. I drive pretty hard and fast.

What caused this increase in gas mileage? The only thing I did to my car was using Valvoline Maxlife for cars 75,000+ miles. Check it out the next time you change oil to see if you get the same result.

Once for a period of several months I got only 280 miles per tank. Needless to say I was freaked out. It turned out that I left the oil change too long, up to 5K miles. So I changed to every 4K miles and the mileage dropped back to normal, about 330 per tank, until this new oil.

I average about 400 miles a gallon with mixed city and freeway driving.

Being on top of maintenance definately helps. Haven't used Vavoline Maxlife but I've been using Mobil 1 synthetic and only had good results.

you said you drive pretty hard a fast...this sucks up ur gas like no other hahah

i just got back from a road trip and was getting 26 mpg
i almost cryed i was so happy. made sure to change the oil before the trip even though it was only 1500 since the last change.

My sc300 auto gets 23 AT BEST! Thats easing into the gas, but the air's usually on, and Im doing around 90 on the freeway.

Dang....400 miles!!! What the heck are you guys doing? I get like barely 200 on one tank . $38 down the drain every week!!!
