Can someone help me with these headlights?

Default Can someone help me with these headlights?

I wet sanded them from 220-2000 grit on both sides. man that was tiring.
this is were they stand now there all cloudy, and i tried some plastic polish i had laying around with a rag but no luck.. help? thanks

try some toothpaste? I know it worked for some people...or optic polisher...others have said that worked well
I just use Simple Green...gets most of the **** on my lenses off, but mine are pretty new

Default headlights

I used a random orbital buffer on mine.
I think I used clearcoat polish.
It came out clear.

I used Blue Magic metal polish on my GS headlights after wetsanding it and that worked like a charm.

I'd wet sand them again with 1000 & 2000 grit 3M wetordry (working your way up, obviously!)

Then hit them up with 3M's Plastic Cleaner (apply a few coats, just like you would car wax)

Then hit it up with a few coats of 3M's Plastic Polish... same deal, just like car wax.

That's what I did with mine -- they came out great.

Use an orbital buffer. There is no way you can do by hand what a good buffer will do. With a good plastic polish, should work on those lenses.

Yikes, bad call on the 200 grit. Start with some 600, then 1000, then rubbing compound, then polishing compound to get those scratches out

That's what I was thinking...200 is pretty rough
