Well,

U can install it yourself but it is up to you if you want to try and fix it.

I would try and save your mom some $$ and steelweld/epoxy/jbweld it from the back.

Unless your mom got some coin - then just replace it.

Same thing happened on my Soarer.

Called a junk yard and picked up a really good condition one for $50

Just do that... jbweld is gay and will only break again, I know b/c when i got my car some jdm guy jd welded (or whatever they have there) the damn thing back togeather and it was broke in a couple months.

BTW it's really easy to replace.. pull off the door panel and pop it in.. took me maybe 30 min start to finish? Don't ever take your car to the dealer.. or make you mom pay for parts

Nick, man shat never stops does it? lol...call a couple of junkyards, place a "WTB" ad in the classifieds here, check fleabay, and lastly call the dealer for a price on this part (Call Carson Toyota and ask for Gordon Miguel, tell him you're from CL for a price break). VJ, it's the interior handle that broke on Nick's car BTW...

 

niiick....check for threads of people parting out their car...i picked one up for $15 =)

also, if you want once you get it, we can meet up and I can give you the goods and i'll even show you how to replace the handle...takes 5-10 minutes...piece of cake!

dude my dad broke mine on my car like the 2nd day I got it. I guess it was just getting ready to give, anyways, i picked up a brand new one from Lexus for $50, installed it myself and that was that

 

crazy glue/ epoxy put the heat on full blast shut all vents except the drivers side and then let it sit for a while and then there is a ghetto solution for your problem good luck
