Default Need help! Climate control was stolen, have question

I have a 1997 Lexus SC300 My stereo was stolen along with the climate controller.

So I went and bought another climate controller it has three plugs on the rear and I have no where to plug it into.

I guess there is a Mid-Harness?

No wires were cut they were nice about it "lol" and just unclipped everything.

Is there a harness in between this and the main vehicle harness?

If so does anyone have the part number or one laying around?

Maybe a Picture of one?

the plugs shown in your pic of the cars plug are incorrect. Further in the dash up top would be the three plugs for the climate.

There are no other plugs, I thought these plugs (blue & white) connected to another harness.

I looked everywhere there are no cut wires

I bought the new climate control from a salvage yard and was assured the 92-98 were all the same.

Is there a detacable harness that the thieves could have taken? Or is it a hard wired harness directly into the main harness?

Thanks for all your help.

I need all I can get.

they assured you wrong. 97,98,99 climate units will not work on 96 and below (and vice versa). However they will plug in from what I am told so you need to look harder for plugs.

get a full pic of the inside of the dash and let me see what you are working with.

how about one good sized pic? That's too small for detail. (One in the middle.)

here's why I am asking............ THere are three plugs for the climate units. I know the 97 climates are different inside and therefore are wired differently. I am unaware if they are two plug or three plug, but the two plugs you are showing me are two female plugs, and we are looking for three male plugs. That's why I want to see what is laying down in the bottom.

If there is nothing visible in the bottom that will work, then you are definately missing a harness.

That white plug looks like an aftermarket metra harness for the radio. can any of those plugs be pulled upwards out of the bottom?
