Vin Vs Body Number

Does anyone know why the VIN number at the bottom corner of the windshield is not 100% the same as the number on the engine bay? The engine bay starts with JZZ31 but the vin doesn't??

JZZ31 is the name of the engine.

Oh my.... JZZ31 is NOT the code for the engine. It is the code for the chassis of a SC300.

so, it is normal with the VIN to start with different lettering but end with the same numbers as the one indented in the engine bay?
