Default A/F and EGT gauges to match the "32" and SMD's?

I'm looking into getting an A/F and EGT gauge and would like them to match the style / colors of my white "32" with red SMD needles as closely as possible. Any recommendations?

Umm, I think you misunderstand. I was wondering if anyone new of gauges that look similar to how the LED instrument cluster looks (in terms of lighting). I was looking at autometer, defi, greddy ... but couldn't find any night pics which would show their illumination.

Here we go:

Autometer:

HKS:

DEFI:

The other ones I've seen don't look like they could match the cluster.

Most of those style gauges light up with a single bulb similar to a #24 or #37 bulb

That being the case, I have taken the bulb out of my Autometer 10k Tach before and slid a colored bulb cover on and it looked fine.

What you need to do is actually write the manufacturer and see if it has a replaceable bulb and ask what it is. It should be a single bulb that screws in the back. If do, you are good to go with a simple colored cap.

OK, thanks. I'll look into that. In the meantime, if anyone has one of these, feel free to chime in

These: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-1st-gen-1992-2000/88406-true-ice-blue-red-caps-for-the-clusters.html

worked great for the time being until something better came along. They should do on your small gauge. There's not much surface area to worry about like in the clusters.

The Defi's use LED lighting, and they would be as close of a match as you will find. They are also tinted and not viewable when off(like our SC gauge clusters) so I can't think of a better match in gauges. The only problem with Defi's is the price

Yup, either that, or the Autometer "Nexus" series look like they might do the trick. The Nexus gauges are LED illuminated as well and you can change the color (7 to choose from) by the touch of a button. Not cheap either though. If anyone's interested, here's a demo: http://www.autometer.com/demos/nexus/

Yeah I definitely think you answered your own question with those Nexus ones. They are pretty dope.

the defi bf gauges will match perfectly - i sent olt a pic almost a year ago wanting the
dash to match those gauges (keep getting side tracked & still havent got the dash done)
if your needles are red & not the original orangeish they will be dead on

BTW i've have them almost 2 years & i think they're worth every penny
