Great news SW! congratulations quickturbo

 

Thanks for posting up SW OH so close, but it wasn't in the cards. Day started out with a few little problems, leaky oil return line from turbo, couple blown little hoses that kept popping off despite my best efforts to zip tie

It was pretty hot out and the track temp was way up!! The track was hookin early, and my first pass out with around 28psi was 1.53 60ft and a 10.1@138

Had a few more mid 1.50 60fts, but the rest of the pass was not clean.

Best pass of the day was

10.074@143.34mph ( I was a couple off when I talked to you SW)
1.55 60ft

I'm working on taking my video's off my camera tonight, I should have them up soon.

Congrats Chris....great to see the friendship and a lil competittion between you and SW.....great to see 1.5 short times on a 6spd....great driving!!!

what hoses were poppin off?..boost or vacum lines?.....

im sure a little more toying and the next track day will be 9s...wait for a little cooler weather to prevail...

I have this REALLY strong feeling that SW and Clint will hit up the track soon and crush my 10.0 when it cools a bit there too. I'll be heading out to the track sooner or later when it cools here as well.

that wont happen... remember... clint said he was going with a "conservative" set up this time arround. this is gonna get interesting. chris, you have the best shot since your up north. cant wait to see what happens.

either way..awesome...the other car pulled the tires off the ground too......sounded like you were breaking up some in 2nd gear and then up top agian?.....or mabye it was a rev limiter?....
awesome run though...cant wait to see a full strength 9 sec run
