Suzuki GSXR750 Tach in SC300
Alrigh guys I have an idea and need some help. I replaced the tach on my 01Gixxer750. I have spare fully functioning tach ( I bought two couldn't decide on white face gauge or black face). I ended up using the white face gauge on my bike. Now my tach in the SC is dead. It moves but I can see squat. I have managed to "safely extract the tachometer assembly from the Gixxer's speedo/tach/cpu/sensor housing. I want to hook up the tach and custom mount it into the gauge cluster. Now I am wary of doing this to a good gauge cluster. There would be a lot of cutting and a lot of refitting. I am not that well learned in electronics but I do understand the basics. I can wire in a radio, safc, alarm, hid kit and so forth. Now when it comes to wiring behind the dash I am lost.
So this is what I need and searching has given me nada:
1. I need help in finding the what type of signal from the ecu to the factory tach.
2. Wiring diagram of the factory cluster
3. Anybody got a spare dead cluster they want to donate for the trial and error testing
4. Also who would be interested in such a project if I got it to work?

Question is, can you rev the motor to 14K?
The only place I know that has the wiring diagram for the dash plus the other shcematics is in a Japanese wiring diagram for the Soarer that a friend of mine has.

Nah can't rev to 14K but sure would be nice to do that. Have to build a rotary if wanna do that. Just wanna get it to work. I am thinking about getting a buel tach they only go to 9K and look nice. V-Twins don't rev as high as inline 4 6, 750 and liter bikes. So how about getting a hold of that wiring diagram for me. I would be ever greatful and will definately post the info up on here for all to learn from

yeah nice bike but plagued with electrical problems. Like all zukis they go fast but they break even faster. I like yamaha better but since the R7 is over priced and discontinued i stick with 750.
