Bought my 1-owner 1992 SC300 two years ago...best investment I ever made! This car is absolutely awesome. Nobody can believe it is ten years old...it looks great. First owner really took care of it and I'm babying her too. Bought it with 130,000 miles on it for around 11K. I now have 188,000 and have never had any mechanical problems at all. I have the usual problems with the trunk lid that will whack you in the head and all my needle lights have gone out, but I'm trying to find a good top instrument panel at a salvage yard. I have had a lot of cars in my time but this one is hands down the best. Don't know what I would buy if I had to get another car...another SC I guess!
The leather seats in this car looked like brand new when I bought them. Has anyone ever heard of getting leather "refurbished" or "painted"? My car would still look almost new other than the worn leather driver's seat. (tan). Think original owner might have replaced the seat? Thing about it was, all the seats were perfect, and if worn at all, mostly the same.

In the fall I became the second owner of a 92 SC3, Auto, Black Jade. Gorgeous, completely stock and I'll keep it that way...15's and all. My first Auto ever.
179,000 and I've just gotten the engine back together after a full rebuild.
I'll sell it soon, but it's come out really sweet.

I traded my 1993 honda civic coupe for it!! It has a worn driver seat, bad power steering pump, alternator, needles burnt out in gauges, leaky shocks. And its metallic orange. Other than that the car runs great. The tranny shifts flawlessly. I dont know the history on it. It was a salvaged theft recovered car. I love it. Doesnt feel like it has 239,000 miles on it at all. If the motor blows, im not worried about it. I can get a japanese sc400 motor for $750 from k. watanabe.
