V-SPEED Trash!!!
I got a full body kit for my 93 sc400. And was just wandering, if this is typical. The kit is V-SPEED BODY KIT from JTRsport. Rear bumper if “ok” as far as the fitment, took me 5 hour to install it.
Front bumper is worse thane the rear, gaps look awful.
But the side skirts (rocker panels) are a pain. I spent 3 hours for the right rocker panel filing, cutting and grinding just to give it some decent fitment.
But my real disappointment is the left panel; the upper part in the rocker panel where the bottoms of the door suppose to fit is short by .5in!! The only way to fix this is to cut the panel in 2 extend it by .5inches and mold then bondo and primer. This is ridiculous? Or is this typical. Should I fight it and get my money back, at least on the rocker panels?

I wonder why people buy knock off kits expecting good, and quality fitment?

I wish you had seen some of my posts about Ebay knock offs... I had the exact same problems and eventually paid about the price of the real thing If you could post up in the "Fitment Sticky" at the top of the forum w/ pics, it could help sway potential buyers. My experience is already in it.
I'm sorry, but there is no chance in he!! your getting all money back... I would suck it up and pay a shop to do the necessary work

"you get what you pay for"
Sorry man, but that's simply one of those hard lessons. Getting automotive knockoff products is like buying stereos from the back of someone's van.
You will not get your money back. Their return policy probably gives you store credit for another knock off, with a 25% restocking fee.

There are few things that are acutally "worth it"...
