oooOOOooo... a V6 4.3 litre 98 SC300!
now normally i could care less about guys posting dumb stuff on ebay, but then i came across a guy blatanly selling a 1998 SC300 saying it has an v8 engine of 4.3 litres. 
he had so many things going against him i decided ot have fun and send him a nice little e-mail.
i am waiting for a response, but i really hope they can change this. i mean, they say very boldly at the top it's a V8 and has a 4.3 litre engine. then if you scroll down, says V6. these guys really kill me.

Normally people MAY get the sc300 and sc400 mixed up. The sc300 came with a 3 litre engine ALL YEARS and the sc400 came with a 4 litre engine ALL YEARS. That's why they are called the sc300 and sc400, the engines. I was going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you mistyped the 3 instead of a 4, but that all went away when I noticed you typed 4.3 litre engine. Not only was Lexus not putting a 4.3 litre engine in the SC's in 1998, but the 4.3 litre engine as you SHOULD know belongs to the SC430 which wasn't even introduced until March 15, 2001. NOT 1998. Why you would mislead sellers like this is beyond me, but if this was all a mistake I would encourage you to fix these blatant errors before something much worse happens from a disgruntled buyer who takes measures into their own hands.

yeah i saw that car on e-bay as well. I wanted to send him a message, but didn't bother. Funny though considering that the seller is also a very well known/respected Porsche dealership by my house.

I belive this delaer has other SC's as well. He has a white 300 that he refers to as "the nicest one ever" or some such ish. He makes a big deal about the TV screen install. When you look at the pics, the car has Chicken wire, spray painted white, in the grill insert, the TV is literally screwed/bolted to the top of the center console above the climate control with a wire hanging down and running to the side. And the screen appears to be some cheapo unit to boot!
