I can almost guarantee you that it is a sticker overlay. I recently purchased some items which had very real looking wood but were wrapped...

Somepeople can also airbrush on the blackwood, getting a REAL blackwood replacement kit for our cars would cost a grip! The carbon fiber replacements are kinda pricey, but getting REAL blackwood replacements would be a fortune.

Looks like the wood is rotten. Why not stick to either real looking wood or something totally different like aluminum or CF?
