I just painted the orange/amber part of my tail lights: Pics Here. It looks so much better and cleaner and gives it a more updated look. I used spray paint specifically designed for tail lights called AUG Lens Painter, made in Japan. I bought it on eBay for $20 (shipping from CA included). I only painted the bottom part of the tail lights. I taped everything off and taped paper around it. I got a little overspray on the bottom, which worried me for a second, so I went to Auto Zone real quick and got something called Oops!. It did an excellent job getting the overspray off the paint, thankfully.
I'm very happy with the results so far. I decided to do it after reading a DIY tutorial on an ES's tail lights. Let me know what you think.

Looks good though

It was either that or start a whole new thread so I chose to hit up an old post on the same topic . I really liked the outcome. Not sure if transparent candy apple spray paint would work just as good. I'm optimistic about the paint lasting (not fading, etc.) on there for a while.
