Where to source these tails?
#6
We have the same tails for BMW's on the BMW boards I visit. They are "crystal tails" so maybe that will help in searching. I've never seen anything like that on an SC though, and it is HAWT!
I can see by the flash the insides would not stand out as much under normal light conditions, which would be perfect.

go halfway down that thread for pics of the clear divider that goes in the tails. I had them out once, that is all they did is remove them. If you can get into the tails, these just pop out. I just realized that is all they did is remove the clear divider.
I had it out drilling led's into it at one time and it took me until now to realize i had already seen these tails clear before. so YES it can be removed, I have done it, and they come outy exactly as above. completely clear. There is nothing on the face of the tails. They are smooth.

Also, just as a side note, you notice most of the SC guy's are over in that thread from here. Adidos, legendary, skullinex, rushgator, setwire, theohms, Jet864, etc....
Feel free to post over there if you have technical questions that don't fit anywhere here. Most SC guy's from here are registered there. We want as much info as possible to stay here at CL, but you are welcome to kick around idea's and stuff over there if you don't want to make a big deal of it over here. It's a nice place to just go over things that aren't "thread worthy" here. For folks that want to talk about electrical systems of any nature and just shoot the jive, feel free to do so. If we come up with anything good, we'll transfer it over here.
