Talking New SC400 Owner

Hey Guys - I just picked up my first SC400 after a long love affair with the vehicle.

I bought the car from Mack Brown Chevrolet in NC on eBay for $9,000

1992 SC400 Royal Jade with Grey Interior.. Anyone else have this combo?
It currently has the gold package and 16inch MOMO's on it
The car was a one owner with 62k and is in near mint condition. All maintence records from Lexus Dealer's were included.

I posted some pictures... the final one is my Photoshop of what I want to do to it.

I have a '94 BMW 530i that once sold will finance my MODS. I am more interested in apperance than performance at this point but I'm sure the bug will bite soon.

Wish List...

18' Enkei pk6's - staggered setup
Window Tint
Black Pearl Emblems
Eibach - springs
Blue Shocks

Any thoughts/suggestions/opinions are greatly welcomed.

A few things I need to address:
-rear deck lid rattle
-small crack on driver's door window trim
-O/D light blinking

Cliff (atlanta)

I assume your last pic was a photoshop of your intended mods, good choice. I would suggest looking in to blacking-out the headlights as well, along with smoked tails and corners to complete the image,

Nice color btw and welcome

Cost so much?? I was thinking I got a great deal for the car. THe best deal I could find on eBay or Autotrader was over 10 grand with at least 90k miles...

Welcome to CL Bag!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats on the purchase! Good choice! (I have a '92 400 as well so I'm partial!!)

I like the direction you are headed with mods, unfortunately, you'll find that us 400 owners don't have a lot of room to go in with performance (at least engine), but there are some options.

Enjoy CL!!!

Priced because of the mileage.. welcome to the forums!! tons of info as long as you search.. the trim crack, assuming is on the upper side where the leather meets the glass, it's a common problem with SC's, it simply doesn't have enough support behind it.. eventually both sides will crack on the exact same spot if you roll down your windows a lot.. try www.seloc.net if you wanna come out to one of the meets to check it out!!
