Default My Little Update

well, i finally feel done enough to get pics up of my last project. heres the dyed dash and center area. also the wood is painted gloss black now. supra seats are in. they've seen better days, but can't go wrong for 75 bucks. pics of the LED gauges will be up as soon as i finish the needles, and finish the full LED climate display. lemme know what you guys think so far.

next to come is the IS wheel, new shifter and new ebrake. doors will be done over winter also.

thanks everyone. i used the SEM paint. and yeah, i found out when i bought it, its NOT a dye, its a flexablie paint. its chipping alot around my cluster cuz i keep taking them out and putting them in. i'm just letting it chip until i finish my cluster, then i'll touch it up once its done.

I actually did that with my stock 5speed ****. The leather was all nasty and part of it was worn down to the plastic underneth so i just ripped it all off. It cleaned up the **** a lot and didn't make it look so aged.

Its all in the prep. Proper sanding and cleaning. Also you guys should try an adhension promoter. They sell Bulldog, in aerosol, in the automotive dept at walmart.

well i took it off the shifter leather and it looks awesome. i think i will still buy a new one, but it looks awesome for now. i went a little crazy though, and took the leather off the ebrake handle and steering wheel. haha. well, under the wheel, it was in good condition. not black, but, kinda the same dark color. my leather was all different colors and worn all nasty, so that looks cleaner now. the ebrake handle however, is nasty under the leather, haha. so, that will just make me get a new one sooner, haha. i'll have pics of this stuff once my mom is done making me my new arm rest and ebrake boot.
