Apart from replacing the studs, I am almost certain there would have been other damage ... imagine wheel coming off and the inertia trasfer inside the whell well ... and the rotor nose diving into asphalt. ... not pretty!

i broke all 5 of my studs once. took me an hour to replace them all in my garage.

Default Not so easy on the rears...

Just to clarify for anyone replacing rear wheel studs- the brakes and rotor must come off first, then the studs are accessable for removal.
