whats up guys i just got a 92 lexus sc400. it has a few problems with it, but other than that it is a really good car. first off the window motors are bad, and the lexus dealer here says they only come with the regulator, and it is like 600$. the other thing is that a radio comes on, but it cut in and out like every second really fast. i was wondering if anyone has ever heard of that before. also i was wondeering if you guys could tell me what 5 speed or 6 speed will fit in the car.

Isn't $600 for a window regulator kinda steep? In any case, never go to the dealership to buy parts, unless you want to hand your wallet to them on a silver platter
A couple of guys here have some parts for much cheaper.

The radio issue is the solenoid that controls the volume **** and the climate control ****. It will need to be replaced. I had the same issue, bought a new one, good to go!!!
As for the AT-MT swap. Hang up your hat now. It can definatley be done but the cost of the custom work necessary basically makes it out of reach.
