STERN wheels.... might buy! opinions!
I am thinking of buying these Stern wheels for my pearl white 95' SC400.... I would get 18"X9.5" in rear and 18"X8.5 in front... they have a 35mm offset..... how do you think they would look? if anybody on here has pics of the wheels on their car please show and tell! and not to sound TOO new... but.... How would they look with a 35mm Offset in that size? thanks a ton!

Stern used to be an independent wheel company in Japan. Ms.Emerald used to run them on her SC back when it was silver... However, a few years ago Stern declared bankruptcy and was aquired by ADR (think- cheap wheels made in China...) I do not know if Stern is still made in Japan or not... so you may want to do a bit of research to ensure that your getting a wheel with decent quality.
However, the design, and sizes should look nice on your SC.

I like em too....bestwheel.com sells em for 1300 (with tires) i believe and u can get them in black too...which I think would look great on my green sc300. but now that somebody says it won't clear bbk or LS400 brakes....forget it.

I was told they won't even fit on my 95SC400 stock. The 95's apparently have a bigger caliper than 92-94 and would need a 10mm spacer. I wanted those wheels too..........They look great.

Since we're all voicing our opinions...I don't like them . I guess it's just my preference, but I don't like wheels with those studs around the rim. But, if they make you happy thats all that matters .

These are cheaply made wheels and you will regret the purchase unless disposable wheels are what you have in mind.
We've covered Stern a few times on CL.
