I have 93 sc400 recently got my self a pair or taillights from 97 sc400. after installing them, my light on instrument cluster shows that one of the light bulbs are out. That’s not true I checked all of them. But the thing that gets me the most is the turn signals. All lights work, but the turn signals blinks very fast.
Yes I did search the forum. But didn’t find any help. Anyone know what’s up?
Thanks

You can buy some light bulb sockets and wires etc to rewire and make them slow again. I had the same problem as about everyone else that does the 97+ upgrade. We can get the stocok module as well bro

We are going to feature a tutorial on the fix as well. Thanks Kaotiq!~

You said you seached but not very well because this topic has been beat to death. I personally have been in about 3 threads on this. Might as well make it four now.
Your car's old lights have more bulbs than the new ones in both the brake and turn signal.
That's why you have a hyperblink and a light on your dash telling you bulbs are out. The car doesn't see these now-missing bulbs.

Not to get off topic sovok, but does your SC have white stripes down the center of it and you refer to it as "the skunk?" Just curious because I saw another SC on the net with white stripes and the owner named it "the skunk" so I was curious to know if it was you or not

I have 1993 sc400, recently did some upgrades. Changed my taillight to a 97+ model. After that, on my instrument cluster light indicated that one of the lights are out. I checked every light, all good. Also when I turn on my signal the light blinks fast. Did anyone have the same problem too? What I do?
