Artificially inflated value of the cars is never a GOOD thing. Have a supra stolen or wrecked and see how much insurance gives you for it.

They are already getting more common because they have become more affordable.

I don't mean to rain on anyone's parade, but I'd seriously hate for our cars to have any sort of a substantial role in a movie like this.

Before Fast n Furious, the Toyota Supra was almost unheard of to many. I remember back in the first Need for Speed game, no one cared about it. So, consequently, it was the first Fast and Furious that sparked the interest in Supras. I personally wouldnt mind the possibility of a movie doing the same to our cars. I would doubt that happening because most SCs are automatic and all comes naturally aspirated.
