Would you trade you current Lex. for the new IS?
I've asked the same question in a few diff. Lexus forums to find out how current owners feel about the new design....... I like it!
WOW! More viewing the new IS then any other lexus model!!!
86 people as of 12:36am on 10/14/05....
Yea I like the new IS to, but have never seen such a high level of intrest in any given model. I guess alot of Lexus owners are ready to trade up...
Is that the case? Would you trade you current Lex. for the new IS?

Now, Now - I would never trade My Sc for it, but wanted to know who would.....
I could buy one for craps and giggles but I would never get rid of my baby.
Not to mention that I'm well over 350 to the wheels on the stock turbos with what I consider to be BS work.....

I have been considering the new IS but not trading in the SC for it. I probably won't because I love coupes and no sedan, even a fast one, can fulfil my coupe desires. I love my sc so much it will probably be with me forever. When I do get another car, the sc will become more of a plaything. Heaven knows it definitely needs more power.
The new IS looks great to me but it's still a sedan. If they ever make the IS coupe, then I'll drool.

NEVERRRRRRRRRR! the performance sounds promising, but still not a fan of the design. but from experience of driving my friends IS, its sooo uncomfortable and tight and feels unsafe. SC all the way!

I would trade my $1200 daily driver 1993 SC3 for it straight out...
What about the 1JZ SC? No way in hell.
The car looks too plain. Ok i know ppl say that about the SC, but at least its original looking. If the new IS didnt have lexus badging on it, i would swear it was just a run of the mill econo sedan.
Now question.. i didnt do my search research, but is the car a toyota counterpart like the original altezza, or is it a US only type car? The styling looks too generic boring american to be a converted j-spec toyota.
