Post Thank you

Thank you, Thank you you're far too kind.......Anyways I just bought a 93 sc400 FBI fleet used vehicle from the auctions. She was calling me out and I had to save her. Glad to be part of this forum. Hopefully I can get then answers from the experts when I get stuck in my revamping process.

hmm...being a grad student, pushing to get a new $50K car would be a bit much, especially with a new house, and no regular income...but in a few years, once I'm all done with my residency, I'll be sure to build up my car collection...hehe

But I think i'll keep my SC for quite a while...she's been good to me, and I respect that loyalty =)

If I traded in all of my cars I could probably almost pull off a 50k car (I'm 18) but I definately don't plan on doing that... I will be selling everything but the two Lexus cars and begin investing in real estate, though.

If I had to go out and buy a 50k car right now, it would definately be a slightly used s600, or possibly an m5

I have always bought cars that had the potential of whooping **** on much more expensive cars.

Im one those that took my parents old car. my parents bought the sc300 for around 32,000 in 95. My parents own gx470, gs430, and a prius. So if my parents get tired of the gx or the gs i can take those.

The gx and the gs are both new, gx being 1 yr old and the gs being brand spanking new.

i've lookng into either 2001 bmw dinan s2 m5 or a 2004 mercedes kleeman e55 but not a sure thing. buying home first always sounds like a good thing but then again if i wait to buy a home after the prices go down. biggest decision im facing right now

I can afford it but I like to have more than one nice Lexus instead of just one really really nice one. Each of my car has their own tasks!

$38,000 for a new Super Duty? Was it stripped?

I think my Dad paid close to $45,000 for his back in '99.

So true!! Anytime you get the itch to take on another car payment listen to the Dave Ramsey show on the radio or internet. He preaches living a debt free lifestyle..and I agree with it.

In this post there is some good subtle advice for some of you young guys.
Its not always about how much you make but rather how much you can save

Well put!
