i picked up an 03 for around 24k. Fully loaded , crew cab, 4x4. These things are bad ***. The turbo diesels hold their value well. Im already starting to mod it.

yea the 05s come with family plan 10k off if you can still find any. 06's are around 45k. Welll no matter what year you get. If you were to get a turbo diesel you would love them.

I have a $50,000 car (it was when it was new) and I swtich between the two all the time. I love them both.

The Vette is screamin' fast but the steering is heavier then the SC.

I agree. Im making more money nowadays with my new job, but I would prefer to simply keep my car in mint condition rather than buying some new 50,000 dollar vehicle. I love my SC400... I hope that new p/s pump comes in soon!!

I could buy one that retails for that, but would never spend that kind of cash on a vehicle.

30K is tops I'd pay for any car. Too many other things to blow money on... like Home Automation and Diving....

Default Time to switch rides?

This year I'm really debating on getting a Chysler SRT8 425hp. Lots of power

I rented a basic 300 , and it drove great and tons of room.

With all the bells and whistles about 47-50k
Some of them are running 12.7-12.8 on drag radials at the track, I need that extra power!

I have a modified Viper RT/10, -64 Galaxie Country Sedan, Ford Expedition and SC400.

I had a Caddy STS before the Lex, great car, more power than SC, but the smaller size and good looks drew me to SC400. It rides great and I would not swap it.

I looked at 300C, Dodge Magnum Hemi, H2, but decided to keep the Lexus...

300C SRT-8.

The 300M was a FWD V6 car.

Actually Afford generally means that by purchasing the car you wouldn't have to give up your current standards of living and the payment(s) would not create a significant burden on your finances.

I've always wanted an SC but for some reason or other, I always ended up buying another car. Now that I'm a full time student again and living off my savings, I figure it's a good opportunity/excuse for me to sell my car current car and pick up an SC and pocket the difference... I just hope I don't spend whatever I save buying parts.
