haha, it's intimidating at first but go slow, take your time... it's real easy i promise.

and if you would rather use a roller i have the eastwood roller that you are more than welcome to use.

Yeah I'd take advantage of that Iron Cobra. They're like $235 for a new one.

In the other thread you said you could relatively easily afford a $50,000 car, but you wont pay the 100 or so dollars to get your fenders propoerly rolled? Come now, if you're so afraid to do it, just bring it to a pro...

You're awesome!!! before I ask you for that generous favor I want to see what happens when I put the wheels on my car this Friday.

My car is dropped only about 1/2" and I will be mounting 18x8.5f 35mmand 18x9.5r 35mm with 245/40ZR18 on the front and 265/35ZR18 on the rear.

do you think I will need to roll them?

lol, just because I can afford a $50,000 car doesn't mean I'm not a tight *** I am also a drummer and a avid mountain biker and computer nerd.. I have my money spread out heheh..

Also, nobody told me how much it would cost, they just told me how easy it was to do myself.
AND I don't know of any shops around here that I would trust to do the work as I just moved here not too long ago.

BTW: just because you can afford to pay someone to clean your house for you does it mean you shouldn't ever do it yourself?

wouldn't it be easier to just trim the back quarter panels? i know that the front fenders should definitely be rolled so as to not make them flimsy, but arent the rears thick enough so they wont be as flimsy when trimmed? thats just what ive heard....

I dont think you will need to. I have a larger drop and have 18x10s with a +37mm offset in the rear with 275/35/18 and I really only rub slightly over dips and hard turns.

Well you're just throwing a different variation up in this mix. Cleaning your house is an everyday thing so of course you can do it yourself. I mean if you've never cleaned a house before and you don't have a vacuum cleaner or a laundry machine for washing your clothes, will you go out to rent or buy those machines to do the job? With a fender roller, how often do you get to use it? and how much experience do you have to do it yourself? Pay the 100, you'll be happy. Which city are you located in? You should ask DIN for some tips on where to go in the Texas area.

well i was quoted $40/hr to get my fenders rolled. i was told that it shouldn't take no more than 2hrs to roll both rear fenders.
