well i just got back from custom alignment. it's too dark to take pics now but i will have some tomorrow. overall i'm very happy, even though i had to raise the car up about inch and a half. by far, it handles better when i was just slammed. oh and specs wise, for now i got
19x8.5fr with 245/35/19
19x10rr with 285/30/19

i haven't done any fender mods so i guess it may look funny but it seems fine to me.
will have pics up tmr i promise!

Here's the pics... car sits about 7/8" higher now judging from the bottom of the bumper, it use to be 4" now it's about 4 7/8". I'm thinking of shaving and rolling the fenders a bit in the rear and gettin the vertex wide fenders so i can lower it more. but the car handles pretty damn good for having raised it, it's like the same if not better when i had it slammed.

ah so finally it's out huh? looks ok, after all it's hre

but seriously, you should have gone with 20s. the vertex is a very aggressive kit, with the 19s they look small on the car, the ratio is kinda out i think

just my 2 cents.

I'm not everyone, and I say the car looks great at that height with the kit. I say keep it at that height, it's sensible but still looks agressive (good wheel fitements will do that to you ). They kinda look like the wheels I wanna get too (Aussie made 3pc wheels though, I'm not a baller like some lol ).

Nice work!

I agree, car looks nice, but the kit makes the wheels look small. But I do like the wheels though.

thanks for the comments guys.

rominl/mikeloc24 - i don't think i would go as far as 20s, 19s was pushing it imo, i reallie wanted 18s in the first place, but settled with 19s because of future plans. i plan on lowering it to about a finger gap in the front, my finger is about 3/4", and 1 1/2 finger gap rear. I'm hoping the drop will make the wheels seem bigger. oh and rominl, what do you mean it looks out of ratio?

Umm maybe I'm just different, but I don't think anything but a H2 Hummer could make those wheels look small!!!

Remember that 19" look big on an X5, they look perfect for that kit! Nice!

I think he just means the wheels are not proportional to the car+kit.

The car looks nice enough with the wheels but that kit really is overwhelming the wheels. I agree that 20s would have set off the car better. As long as you like the setup, though, just ignore the 20s recommendations.

yeah that's what i meant, with the aggressive kits the wheels somehow become "smaller" of course, as long as you like them it's all cool

just curious, what about 20s that make you think it's off the fence? the tire profiles are the same for both

Uh oh, Roms in the SC300/400 forums!!!

LexAnt - the car looks hot, I think you made the right choice by going with 19s at least. 18s would have been too small.

VERY, VERY NICE!

The only thing I'd do is throw on sum cross drilled rotors and call it good
