Basically what i did was cut out the 90 degree portion of metal that comes off of the fender that would rub against the tire. I used a 4" grinder with a metal cutting wheel to do the job. 4" grinder was 29.99 at homedepot, and the cutting wheels (needed 2) were 1.69. If you have airtools, you might be able to use metal shears but it's a tight spot so I dunno. It's a pretty straight forward job, just have to cut as close to the fender as possible, and then sand down to get any loose metal or rough edges smoothed out, then paint/clear it to prevent rust. Also have to be careful of the grinder trying to run off and sign its name into your paint, it got away from me, and put a small gash in my fender but nothing touch up paint coudn't fix. Oh and also be sure to wear some type of eyewear or safety goggles. Hope this helps.

Hey man, I love my cheap (well not cheap for me) rims. I found the rims that are perfect look, weight, quality, cost, and fitment for what I was looking for..

I spend enough on every other hobbie in my life, so I can't put it all on my car

Anyhow, those rims are pimp tight! Good job good taste!

Wow--that's gorgeous.
Why not just roll the fenders?
Is cutting a better option?

Hey, It is your decision to buy those rims for reasons mentioned above.

But it is our decision to say what we think about them.

Can we agree to disagree?

What do you think about nice looking replica wheels that members on here have? They're crap?... Crap implies perhaps too many negative things and I feel is the wrong word to use.

I give props to whoever buys Volks or HREs or any other highline rim, they have there reasons for buying them, whether they are weight, brand, size, budget, or style related. I think that Advan7 has some pretty dang nice shoes on that Lexus and they look AWESOME!

Though I also think that using the term "Crap" is a rude, vulgar, and a misguided term to call anybody’s property that they invested their hard earned money towards (especially as a CL Member)

I just think there is probably a more appropriate approach when criticizing other people’s property.

But, no harm, just my own opinion

Nice wheels! I love the white on gold.... (hence why i roll the same way) except i have the gram lights 57pro. If you are looking for what the wheels will look like with a white kit, just do a search and find some pictures i have posted. Although its not the exact same, I have the bomex kit, you still can get an idea of what the color schemes look like.

Good call on the wheels man!

Default Only my opinion....

I think you took the style away from it and made it look a bit too ghetto for me.
