Default Scuff Guard idea... Opinions please!

I have been trying to find a cheap yet very functional way to eliminate scuffs on the bottom of the nose of our cars.

Completely different Idea
EDITTED ON THE 28th:... I am going to get the front bumper cover removed and the very bottom spayed with a rubberized Bed liner.

I dunno man.... Although it would be hard to see, you don't want your car looking like some kinda S&M mask.... I would just play it safe and get a decent looking plastic lip that doesn't show very much. You have a damn nie car and I wouldnt wanna see you mess it up in any way. If you feel it will work, go for it by all means! just give us a report and pics when or if you try it out! good luck.

I'm not getting how these will work. Are they supposed to stick out and scrap instead of the bumper?

I agree, but I can't find a plastic lip instead.

The point of them is to prevent the paint from starting to chip and that chip from spreading.

But wouldn't they just catch on whatever is scratching and bend/crack the paint where they are attached? I think some think clear bra film would be best to help with minor cracks and paint chipping.

that's actually a pretty decent idea! as long as you mask it off as far out of sight as possible..... I say it would work just fine!

Didn't you start a thread on protecting yourself from scraping already?

You also started 2 threads about your wheels, one lowered, one not. Let's keep all the same exactly topics in one thread please.

I feel like moderator or something...

Anyways, Why don't you try welding some metal plates to the bottom frame so that whenever your nose goes down, it'll hit the plates before your nose.

Actually that thread was just to figure out what the thing was. This one is for people to brainstorm about how to solve the problem.

IC<

You might want to consider something like a couple of the GS members did with a custom scuff plate
