I very seriously doubt anyone would be able to feel 36lbs, off a car that wasn't a race car. And less weight up front would make the car tend to oversteer more, however, like I said i doubt it has much effect as far as handleing is concerned.

Unsprung weight is going to make a much bigger differnece than sprung weight. However, most people here arn't concerned about unsprung weigh. ahwell.

Of course the unsprung weight will make a biger difference wich is the main reason 17's perform better than 19's. one of the other changes the lighter hood will make is to the suspention. decreasing the weight on the front will change the stiffnes of the spring, not its actual k value but the fact it has less preload. it is that which will make the car feel like it handels differently even if the results wouldn't show on a skid pad.

It feels different...nuff said.

As for unsprung weight, the next item on the menu for weight reduction will be Top Secret coilovers. Should be good for another 36lbs.
