Just got rear ended this morning.
Sitting in traffic and some guy plows right into the back of me. Possibly uninsured.
My trunk, rear bumper, lights and left rear quarter panel are damaged from what I see.
I was only a week or two away from putting it up for the winter.
FK!

sorry to hear man, im in the exact same boat, except my quater panels are ok. Michigan has no fault insuarance though, which is the stupidest thing ever, because if u have liability, the most you can get is 500 bucks...blah, hope everything works out for you, buddy

Same thing happened to me a few months ago. Lift up the trunk matting and look carefully for frame-rail damage. Mine was pretty easy to spot despite there being very little visible damage on the outside. The right side frame rail was quite crunched in. If you have quarter panel damage, chances are you have frame rail damage. There's not much you can do (at least here in FL) about getting back diminished value for it, either.

He wasn't drunk, just an idiot.
At one point he said, "I think there was some damage already to the rear of your car"
I told him there wasn't a scratch visible to the human eye on the back of my car. Before I got more pissed, I just waited for the police.

haha you guys are the best. Mike, my school said they'd put up money for another car club BBQ... feel like free food?
OLT: I swear, I'm sending in my cluster this week (Me? Procrastinate? Nevar!)
Will: Sorry about that -- getting rear ended really stinks. There's not much you can do about it. At least the rear end is relatively straight forward to repair... as long as that rear quarterpanel isn't too badly hurt.
I was dating this girl, and on her birthday, in the car with her entire family, he backed into my car (parked in the same spot it had been the past 3 months). It was ~5,000 in damage due to that small collision alone.
Good luck with the repair!

I will definitely look for that. I am sure they will send their adjuster out and then I will go to one of the places suggested on clublexus.
