Just recently tinted my tails with my friend. Let me know what you guys think....Personally I think it makes it look more sleek, but I know some ppl won't like it but thats cool.

I don't see a picture yet...

EDIT: wow...that's really dark...looks I'd rather paint the upper part red to match the bottom...

Yeah probably....you can still see the lights and everything though. At night its just like if i didnt have that tint on there, the running lights, brake lights, and turn signals all are very visible at night. So i'm not too worried about them. And if I do get pulled over i'll just play dumb and peel the tint off really quick. It comes off really easily, just peel and your done.

Exactly what was thinking , I hate traffic cops with a passion. So much wasted resource IMO .
The only crime to me , would be having to remove that tint, that ish is just too f-ing tight !
Man that looks sweet!

Only a handful of cars can pull of the smoked/stealth look. Sorry but the SC cannot (especially not in stock form and that dark with those tail lights.)

oh yea and ..uh...that is just my opinion.

I think you have a great start, but if ya wanna pull off the batmobile look you need about 6 grand more in that car to run those tails.

LOL, well I never really thought of it as the batmobile look but i'm just really looking for a sleek sthealthy look. So my future plans are to get a set of black rims with a chrome lip and lowering it a little, then the body kit. Not sure on what kit i want to get yet maybe the bomex kit (but i'm not really to fond of the sideskirts IMO i think they stick out too much), Wald kit, or just go with a 97+ conversion. What do you guys think?

honestly?..... i think it looks wicked on the black! its not my personal taste, and i would never give up my 95 red/clear tails, but it looks really good. once you get some black rims, and a very aggressive kit, it will be perfect. the blacked out tails makes it look mean, so whatever kit you go with should play off of that. a 97 update, of walk kit would be too smooth for your car, and the bomex isnt that agressive either. well, thats my $.02
