No, I believe there is one other significant difference. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the 92 year model is a year older than the 93... I could be missinformed though.

Oh, and we can't forget that the '93 is a year younger than the '92.

My 93 SC has the dual trip meters. My 2000 S500 also has rear defroster. Hmmm...

You cant believe everything you read. It says there that the SC came with 225hp stock. I believe from what everyone else is telling me its 220hp stock. That site also makes the SC300s sound like if there are more 5-speeds than automatics. It says "automatic optional." I own a 93 SC300 and it comes with the tripometer and so have many other SCs Ive driven. To me there are not that many SCs that are exactly the same because one might have the lip or seatwarmers...etc. But all of them I believe come with the tripometer as a standard option. Its like having the clock.

my 1992 has both trip meters, no auto headlights, rear window defroster.....
my 1993 has auto headlights, rear defroster, and trip meters

The only difference between the 2 cars i can tell is the ugly airbag in the passenger section in the 1993.

The s500 does in deed have a rear defroster... I went to school for mercedes and if they had the time to put all the other b/s accessories on the benz's i think it'd have a defroster also

What cars these days DON'T have rear defrosters?

My 94 has Trip A which I use for each tank (xx.x miles), Trip B which I use to measure the mileage between oil changes (xxxx miles). That website is CLEARLY lacking truthful knowledge.

Quick Reply: I am misinformed about the trip meter on the SC's.
